ALBUM ‘THE TROUBLE WITH BOYS’ SET FOR RELEASE SEPTEMBER 20

MAJOR HEADLINE TOUR WINTER 2019

12 July 2019: Two years after officially marking a decade since the release of Scouting For Girls’ unstoppable million-selling eponymous self-titled debut album, the band are excited to announce the release of a brand new album ‘The Trouble With Boys’, consisting of unmistakable pop anthems set to have fans all over the world singing along in unison – set for release September 20th through Sony Music.

The first single from the upbeat, fun and infectious new album is the satisfyingly catchy summer anthem ‘Grown Up’, which is released today.  Fans can grab a sneak peak and enjoy a taste of what’s to come by watching the teaser video here.

SFG commented; “We are so excited to release The Trouble with Boys, our first studio album in four years. We’re really proud of it and genuinely feel it’s our best collection of songs since our debut. Both albums really benefited from the extra time and care we spent writing and recording them. I can’t wait for people to hear it.”

Scouting For Girls also today announce a mammoth headline tour for Winter 2019.  ‘The Trouble With Boys’ tour will see the band play legendary venues such as London Shepherds Bush Empire and Manchester Albert Hall.  During their last tour in 2017, Scouting For Girls played to more people than they’ve ever played to before, celebrating their 2007 debut album that went on to become triple platinum Number 1 and birthed the generation-bridging anthems of ‘She’s So Lovely’, ‘Elvis Aint Dead’ and ‘Heartbeat’.

SFG commented; “Touring is our very favourite aspect of being in this band. Our 2017 anniversary tour was so incredible that we’re pulling out all the stops to beat it. We’ve got a handful of new tunes, some old fan favourites we haven’t played for years plus all the big singles. We can’t wait.”

As well as announcing a headline tour for later this year, Scouting For Girls who are Roy Stride, Greg Churchouse and Pete Ellard are also playing an extensive list of Summer Festivals.  See full live dates for 2019 below. Tickets for the headline tour go on sale July 19th here.

Throughout Scouting For Girls’ immensely successful career they’ve sold over 1.5 million albums, two million singles, had four Brit Award nominations, an Ivor Novello nomination, had four top ten singles, sold-out Wembley Arena, The Royal Albert Hall and most recently sold-out The London Palladium and had a series of hit singles all of which were inescapable radio smashes.  Scouting For Girls continue to prove they are unstoppable.
