Kingsland Road’s debut Album “We are the Young” is released on March 15th. The lads have co-written all the tracks, and have worked with some amazing writers and producers, including Ollie Green, Lewis Mokler (1D), Jason Perry (McFly), Jamie Sellers (The Wanted) and Cam Blackwood (George Ezra). The album is full of high energy, exuberant tracks that are fun and upbeat.
Kingsland Road are exporting their brand of fun, upbeat indie-pop all around the world. The album will be released in the US in May, having bagged a US record deal with New York based label Radikal, and they will be embarking on a 13 date tour across America with more dates to announce. They are performing with some big new US acts including Shawn Mendes. After reading tweets from their fans about being misjudged and being different, it inspired the lads to write the title track, ‘We Are The Young’. The sentiment of the song is ‘the kids aren’t all bad’ reminding adults that they too were young and misunderstood once.
Kingsland Road burst onto our TV screens during the X Factor Live Finals 2013. Their mentor Gary Barlow called them a ‘ready-made hit boy band’ and Ellie Goulding and James Corden raved about their moves, and their hair!
In August 2014 the boys released their EP ‘Dirty Dancer’ to critical acclaim. A sell-out tour followed last summer. They are back on the road this March when their UK tour kicks off in Manchester. The boys are thrilled to be releasing their debut album and can’t wait for their fans to hear their new tracks.
