judyChoreographer Chris Whittaker re-joins the team as they bring Judy! into the Arts Theatre, Leicester Square. The show celebrates the music and life of Judy Garland, and runs until the 17th June.

Chris will choreograph the Tim Rice musical Blondel. The show is centred around King Richard’s minstrel, Blondel, who embarks on a quest to find his missing King. The production opens June 21st at The Union Theatre and is Directed and Produced by The Union Theatre’s Artistic Director Sasha Regan.

He also adds another show to 2017, this time, 9 to 5, Upstairs at the Gatehouse! This hilarious musical comedy plays from August 30th through to the 1st October.

Chris recently returned to the creative team of ‘Shakespeare 4 Kids’ who have produced musical productions all over the world for young, budding theatre fans, previously choreographing Peter Pan, Beauty & The Beast, The Jungle Book, Pinocchio and Romeo and Juliet.

Other choreography credits include Anything Goes Upstairs at the Gatehouse, Aladdin at the Millfield arts Theatre and new musical Through The Mill at Southwark Playhouse. Alongside this, Chris worked on a new stage adaptation of The Great Gatsby, titled Gatsby playing a short run at the Arts Theatre, Leicester Square.
